Mumbai. Two-wheeler and three-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto said on Thursday that it had registered a 31 percent decline in total sales including exports. According to the company, in 2019, 4,04,624 vehicles were sold in the month of June, while in June 2020 only 2,78,097 vehicles were sold.
Similarly, Bajaj Auto’s total domestic sales stood at 1,51,189 units, compared to 2,29,225 vehicles sold in June last year, registering a 34 percent drop in sales rate this year.
The Bajaj company exported a total of 1,75,399 units in 2019, while in June the company exported 1,26,908 units in 2020. That is, the company has seen a 28 percent decline in total exports.
If we talk about two-wheelers, the company says that the sales of two-wheelers have fallen by 27 percent, as 3,51,291 vehicles were sold in June last year, while this year only 2,55,122 vehicles. Was sold.
Sales of commercial vehicles of the company declined by 57 percent. In the month of June, 22,975 units of commercial vehicles have been sold, while in June last year 53,333 vehicles were sold. (IANS)
