Pro Kabaddi League 2021-22, Bengaluru Bulls vs tamil Thalaivas: Bengaluru Bulls defeated Tamil Thalaivas 38-30 in the eighth match of the Pro Kabaddi League played at Sheraton Grant Whitefield in Bengaluru on Friday. In this match, the defense of both the teams performed brilliantly in the first half and many excellent tackles were seen. Pawan Sehrawat scored 9 points for Bangalore Bulls, while Chandran Ranjeet scored 7 points. Bhavani Rajput took 8 raid points from Tamil Thalaivas, who managed to get Sagar 5, Manjeet 4 and captain Surjeet Singh 3 points.
Bengaluru Bulls won the toss and chose the court. Prapanjan of Tamil Thaiwaz did the first raid and he could not get the points. In this match, the defense of both the teams was looking great and the defenders craved the raiders for each raid point. However, it was a bit difficult to stop Pawan of Bangalore Bulls and India was also walking shoulder to shoulder with him. Bhavani Rajput performed brilliantly in the first half for Tamil Thalaivas and Sagar was doing amazing in the defence. Bengaluru Bulls were ahead 19-13 after the first half. In this half, Pawan Sehrawat was successful in touching the figure of 700 raid points.
At the beginning of the second half, Tamil Thalaivas came back and added some points, but in the fourth minute, the Bulls’ excellent defense Tamil Thalaivas were all out. The score was tied at 25-25 till 10 minutes. All the players of Tamil Thalaivas were contributing, then Chandran Ranjit returned to form from Bangalore Bulls and gave the team points from the raid. Together, Aman, Sorabh and Mayur Kadam were constantly putting pressure on the Tamil Thalaivas by tackling the opposition. Bulls dominated in the last 10 minutes and Chandran Ranjit super raided Tamil Thalaivas to all out and gave Bulls a 5 point lead. Tamil lost another point in the last raid and lost the match 38-30. With this win, Bengaluru Bulls have registered their first win of the season.
