Business: Sensex and Nifty both bounce in major indices of domestic stock market

Mumbai On Friday, the last day of the trading week, both major indices of the domestic stock market closed with Sensex and Nifty gains. At the end of trading, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share sensitive index Sensex gained 127.01 points or 0.31 per cent to close at 40,685.50 and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) 50-share Sensitive Index Nifty closed up 33.90 points at 11,930.35. Happened.

Today, 29 companies included in the Nifty-50 index rose sharply and 21 stocks fell, while the total market cap of listed companies on the BSE has crossed Rs 160 lakh crore.

Metal and IT group stocks rose in today’s business. At the same time, there was a slight decline in the banking index. Maruti’s shares have closed up 4 percent in the Nifty. Bharat Forge shares in the auto index closed up 6 percent. Apart from this, Tata Steel shares rose more than 3 percent. Power Grid’s stock has also gained more than 2 percent.

UltraTech Cement, on the other hand, has closed down 2 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Hindustan Unilever and HCL Tech also fell by 1-1 per cent. The BSE Sensex opened 169.9 points up at 40,728.39 and the Nifty opened 61.45 points up at 11,957.90.
