Team India scored 191 runs in the first innings. While England’s first innings was all out for 290 runs and they got a lead of 99 runs. Then India scored 466 runs in the second innings and gave England a target of 368 runs to win. However, the second innings of the hosts was reduced to 210 runs and they had to face a crushing defeat. Apart from Umesh, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each for India.
