Bumrah bowled impressively in the match, bowling Ollie Pope (02) and Jonny Bairstow (00) in the second session of the day. Kohli said that Bumrah himself was trying to bowl at that time. Team India scored 191 runs in the first innings. While England’s first innings was all out for 290 runs and they got a lead of 99 runs. Then India scored 466 runs in the second innings and gave England a target of 368 runs to win. However, the second innings of the hosts was reduced to 210 runs and they had to face a crushing defeat. Apart from Umesh, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each for India.
