Cipla releases immunity detection kit for Kovid-19

New Dilli The pharmaceutical company on Wednesday announced the release of immunity detection kits under the brand name ‘Elephant’ in India. The company has launched this kit in partnership with Karva Limited. Giving this information, Cipla said that the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has transferred the technology for this kit.

The company stated, “As part of the collaborative efforts, Cipla will be responsible for marketing and distribution of SARS COV-2-LGG antiviral discovery.” It will be manufactured by Karva Limited. The company’s statement said that the distribution of this kit through Cipla’s distribution network will be done in a planned manner across the country. This supply will be done through the channels approved by the ACMR so that it can be distributed in a similar way.

Alifast has been approved and validated by ICMR and National Institute of Virology (NIV) at Pune.
Through this kit, a person’s disease status can be detected in front of Kovid-19. ICMR recommends this type of testing under sero-surveillance. (Agency)
