Corona virus outbreak: Indian Railways in crisis, Tejas Express closed again from today

new Delhi. The Indian Railways has been in trouble due to the outbreak of Corona virus once again in India. Due to shortage of passengers during the Karona period, the Tejas Express has to be closed again for the next order from today.

The Chief Regional Manager of IRCTC provided information that due to Corona epidemic, the movement of passengers from this train is decreasing greatly. Because of this, the train is being completely canceled until further orders.

The Tejas train is India’s first privately and corporately operated train. It is operated through IRCTC. This train runs between Lucknow to Delhi. It has been made completely VIP.

According to the information, Indian Railways is considering operating the Mahakal Express between Varanasi to Indore. Its operations have also been handed over to IRCTC by Indian Railways.

The Lucknow-Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express was launched by IRCTC in October 2019. Tejas Express commenced operations between Ahmedabad-Mumbai in January this year.

After the start of Corona, the railways stopped operating all the trains in the country. After this, the Tejas train was re-operated on 17 October 2020. But due to the lockdown, the operation of Tejas was stopped on 19 March.
