COVID-19: Maruti extended the warranty of the vehicles, service period till June 30

new Delhi. Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest automobile company, has decided to extend the warranty period and validity of service of customers’ vehicles during the lockdown period. It has been decided that the customers whose vehicles have free service, warranty and extended warranty expires from March 15, 2020 to April 30, 2020, they have now been extended till June 30, 2020. .

To facilitate the customers during nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 infection, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has today announced several steps to extend warranty and service for customers, the company said in a statement.

The company has taken this decision considering the convenience of customers. Because of the increasing outbreak of coronavirus, customers cannot get their vehicles out of their homes. Now during the said period, the customers whose vehicles have expired the warranty or service, have been given extra time.

Along with this, the company is also trying to tell its customers through various messages how the condition of their vehicles standing closed during lockdown can be improved.

Explain that in view of the lockdown, the government has also provided various tax related exemptions for a period of three months till June 30, so that people can get some relief at the time of this trouble. (IANS)
