Sour curd – 1 cup
Gram flour – 2 tablespoons
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Green chili – 2
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Fenugreek – 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Asafoetida – 1/4 teaspoon
Dry red chili – 3
Curry leaves – 10
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Ripe mango puree – 1 cup

For tempering

Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Fenugreek – 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard – 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili – 4
Red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon

How to make

Take gram flour, curd, ginger and green chillies in a blender and grind them well. Keep in mind that there are no lumps in it while preparing the solution. Heat oil in a pan and add fenugreek, mustard, cumin and asafoetida. Add curry leaves and red chillies too. Now add yogurt solution to the pan. Also mix three cups of water, turmeric powder, salt and mango puree.

Allow the kadhi to come to a boil and then reduce the flame and cook it while stirring for 20-25 minutes. When the kadhi becomes thick, turn off the gas. Heat the ghee in a small pan for tempering. Add fenugreek, mustard, cumin and dry red chilli. When the cumin seeds are roasted, turn off the gas and add red chili powder to the hot ghee and add the tempering to the kadhi.
