Diesel again costlier by 25 paise per liter, petrol prices remain stable

New Delhi. The effect of increase in crude oil prices in the international market has started showing in the domestic market. Public sector oil marketing companies have increased the price of diesel by 25 paise per litre. However, there has been no change in the price of petrol. Petrol in the capital Delhi remained stable at Rs 101.19 per liter on Sunday. However, diesel jumped 25 paise to Rs 89.07 per litre.

In other metros of the country, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, the price of petrol remained stable at Rs 107.26, Rs 98.96 and Rs 101.62 per liter respectively. But, the price of diesel has increased to Rs 96.68, Rs 93.69 and Rs 92.17 per liter respectively. Apart from this, petrol is getting Rs 98.52 per liter in Noida, while diesel has increased to Rs 89.67 per liter. It is worth noting that two days ago, the oil companies had increased the price of diesel by 22 paise per liter. But, there was no change in the price of petrol.

It is noteworthy that the trend of crude oil continues to rise in the international market. Crude oil closed up every week this month. In fact, the consumption of petroleum products is increasing rapidly, due to which the stock of crude oil in America has come down to a 3-year low these days.

At the same time, on the last trading day this week, Brent crude closed at $ 78.09 a barrel, which is $ 0.84 higher than the previous day, while WTI crude also closed at $ 73.98 a barrel, up $ 0.68.
