Easy and Quick Chutney Recipe: If you are fond of sour-sweet chutney, then make tamarind and date chutney

Ingredients for making tamarind and date chutney-

  • Seedless tamarind : 50 grams
  • Seedless dates: 50 grams
  • Water: 2 cups (200 grams)
  • Jaggery: 50 grams
  • Fennel Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp (as per taste)

Method of making Tamarind and Palm Chutney – First of all, put a pan on the gas and put tamarind, dates and jaggery in it. Then add 2 cups (200 grams) of water to it. Mix it well and then cook for 10 minutes. After this add fennel powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger powder, red chili powder and salt and mix it. Then cook it on low flame for 5 minutes. After this, mash the dates and tamarind on the gas. Now turn off the gas and keep it to cool down. After cooling, grind it in a blender or mixer to make a paste. Now sieve it through a sieve. Now put the chutney in a glass vessel and eat it for months.
