Virat Kohli is playing the 100th Test match of his career against Sri Lanka in Mohali. Kohli on Friday said he wants the next generation to take inspiration from the fact that he has been able to achieve the feat despite playing in all three formats amid a hectic international schedule. The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) honored this star cricketer on the occasion of his 100th Test.

After being felicitated by head coach Rahul Dravid, Kohli said, “Given the amount of cricket we are playing in all three formats and IPL at present, the next generation can learn from me that I played 100 matches in the top format.” .”

During this, Kohli’s actress wife Anushka Sharma and brother Vikas Kohli were also present in the stands. Former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Secretary Jay Shah, Treasurer Arun Dhumal and Vice President Rajiv Shukla were also present during this.

Coach Dravid lauded Kohli’s ability to play long hours and asked him to double. Kohli said, “This is a special moment for me. My wife is here and my brother is also here. Everyone is very proud. This is a team sport and it would not have been possible without you.
