IPL 15: Hyderabad batsman defeated Avesh Khan, Lucknow registers second consecutive win

Lucknow has got its second consecutive win in IPL 15. They beat Hyderabad by 12 runs. After winning this match, Lucknow has four points. At the same time, Hyderabad has to face defeat once again. This is Hyderabad’s second consecutive defeat.

Hyderabad batsmen disappointed

Chasing the score of 170 runs, Hyderabad’s start was not very special. Team’s opener Abhishek Sharma got out after scoring just 13 runs. After that Captain Kane also could not do anything amazing and got out after scoring 16 runs.

After his dismissal, Rahul and Markram took over the team. Rahul got out after scoring 44 runs. After his dismissal, Pooran and Sundar tried to win the team. But after Pooran was dismissed for 34, none of the batsmen could do much and Hyderabad had to face defeat by 12 runs. Light Avesh Khan of Lucknow took 4 wickets for 24 runs.

Strong score made on the strength of Rahul and Hooda

Losing the toss and opting to bat first, the start was not very special for Lucknow. The team’s first three wickets fell within just 27 runs. After which captain KL Rahul (68) and Deepak Hooda (51) took over the team. Both shared a partnership of 87 runs. On the basis of the innings of these two, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) set Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRG) a target of 170 runs to win. Lucknow scored 169 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Hyderabad’s Washington Sundar, Romario Shepherd and T Natarajan took two wickets each.
