Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) CEO Kashi Vishwanathan and bowling coach L Balaji Corona have been found positive. Apart from this, some members of the DDCA ground staff have also come under the grip of Corona. However these members were not on duty in the recent IPL matches. Because of this, all the players of the matches happening here are safe.
Five other KKR players also ill
KKR’s Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier have been found infected with Kovid. Apart from this, five other players, including Pat Cummins, are said to be ill. A statement in this regard was issued by the BCCI on Monday. It said that these two players have been isolated and the medical team is constantly monitoring their health.
There have been 29 matches so far this season.
In the 14th season of the IPL, 29 matches have been played so far. Now the threat of corona is hovering over IPL. The BCCI had created a safe bio bubble for the players due to corona, despite the fact that the players are getting corona infected is increasing concern.
CSK is second in the points table
