IPL 2021: Sreesanth gets a big blow, he won’t be able to play IPL this year

IPL Auction 2021: Players will be auctioned on February 18 for the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. This year 1114 players had registered for the auction. In the list released by BCCI, only 292 players have been selected for the bid. S Sreesanth, who returned to cricket after a long gap of 7 years, has not been included in the auction.

S Sreesanth, who has been sentenced to seven for spot-fixing, recently returned to cricket through the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Sreesanth got a place in the Kerala team in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Sreesanth had registered for the auction this year. But now the hopes of Sreesanth’s return have come as a shock.

Pujara got a place

Team India’s star batsman Cheteshwar Pujara is expected to be part of the IPL once again. Cheteshwar Pujara’s name is included in the list of 292 players. Pujara has kept his base price at Rs 50 lakh. Pujara has previously played in the IPL for KKR and RCB.

Labushen list

Australia’s star batsman Marnus Labuschen has registered himself for the IPL for the first time. Labushen’s base prize is Rs 1.5 crore. Labushen expressed his desire to play in the IPL this year.
