IPL franchise CSK announced a prize money of one crore rupees to Neeraj Chopra

Indian thrower Neeraj Chopra, who created history by winning the gold medal in javelin throw at the Tokyo Olympics, is being showered with prizes. The Haryana government has announced a prize money of Rs 6 crore to this star player of Panipat. Apart from this, they will also get a one category job from the state government. Apart from the Haryana government, IPL’s champion franchise Chennai Super Kings has announced a huge prize money of Rs 1 crore to Neeraj Chopra. Announcing the announcement, Chennai Super Kings wrote on their official Twitter handle that as a mark of respect and honor to Neeraj Chopra, CSK is giving an award of Rs 1 crore to Neeraj.

Apart from this, CSK has also announced to make a special jersey number 8758 in honor of Neeraj. In fact, this Indian athlete captured the gold medal in the final of the Tokyo Olympics by throwing a huge javelin of 87.58 meters. Neeraj is the second player from India to win a gold medal for India individually. Abhinav Bindra won gold in Neeraj’s first shooting.
