Raw coconut pieces – 1/2 bowl, roasted peanuts – 1/2 bowl, salt – as per taste, green chillies – one or two (finely chopped), coriander – one teaspoon, mustard or mustard seeds – half teaspoon, whole red Chilli – 2-3, curry leaves – 4-6, ghee – as required

The way to make coconut chutney is as follows…

To make coconut chutney, firstly grind roasted peanuts, coconut pieces, coriander leaves, green chillies and a little water in a grinder. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard or mustard seeds. After the sound of the mustard crackle, add whole red chillies, curry leaves and fry them.

Pour coconut-peanut paste over it and cook it a little. Take it in a few minutes of cooking your coconut chutney is ready. Now you can serve it with dosa or idli.
