New Bajaj Dominar 250 launched in India, it’s price and features

Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of the More Accessible Dominar Series motorcycle Dominar 250. The quarter-liter variant of the Dominor range is available in Delhi with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.60 lakh. The Dominar 400 BS 6 Four Reference will be sold for Rs 1.91 lakh. The latest model of Bajaj’s product portfolio draws styling cues from the Dominar 400.

Thus the Dominar 250 is available in two color options Canyon Red and Wine Black. Hardware specifications are similar to the Dominar 400. Shock Absorption Tasks Upside Down Telescopic Focus at the front and back perform preload adjustable monoshock. Encouraging power on both wheels comes from disc brakes, while the safety net has a dual channel ABS component.

Mechanical specifications include a 248.77 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC motor included, based on KTM’s 250 cc engine. Bajaj has however tweaked the motor to integrate its twin spark technology.

A motor linked to a six-speed gearbox generates 26.6 Bhp and 23.5 Nm of torque. The quarter-naked roadster in comparison of the Austrian brand produces 29.6 Bhp and 24 Nm. The new Bajaj Dominar 250 will compete with Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ25.
