According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday morning, 219 people have died in the last 24 hours, which is less than the last several days. The death toll has increased to 4,42,874.

During this, the corona test report of 27,254 people came positive, due to which the number of infected has increased to three crore 32 lakh 64 thousand 175. During this, after the recovery of 37,687 patients, the number of corona-free people has increased to three crore 24 lakh 47 thousand 32. The number of people recovering from this disease was more than new cases of corona infection, due to which the rate of active cases has come down to 1.13 percent. Active cases have come down from 10,652 to 3 lakh 74 thousand 269. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 97.54 percent while the death rate is currently 1.33 percent.

Kerala currently ranks first in the country in terms of active cases, although in the last 24 hours, the maximum number of 9537 active cases has decreased and their number is now 2,22,815. At the same time, due to the recovery of 29,710 patients, the number of corona-free people has increased to 41,30,065, while the death toll has increased to 22,551 due to the death of 67 more patients. In Maharashtra, the active cases have come down to 51,244 while the death toll has risen to 1,38,142 with the death of 46 more patients. At the same time, the latest figures of those who are corona free have not been updated yet.
