Nita Ambani launches India’s largest convention center, Jio World Center is spread over 18.5 acres

Mumbai, Nita Ambani, director of Reliance Industries and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, has announced the opening of the country’s largest convention center. ‘Jio World Center’ is spread over 18.5 acres in Bandra Kurla area of ​​Mumbai. According to the company, the thinking of Nita Ambani is being told behind this center. This is the same convention center where the International Olympic Committee meeting is scheduled to be held in 2023. The design of the center is also special, 10,640 people can be seated in two convention centers built in 1,07,640 square feet. There are 3 exhibition halls spread over 1,61,460 square feet, in which 16 thousand 500 guests can participate in events simultaneously. Apart from this, the ballroom for 3200 guests and 25 meeting rooms are also arranged in this center.

Sharing her vision on the centre, Nita Ambani said, “Jio World Center is another achievement for our proud nation. It reflects the aspirations of a new India. Equipped with the largest gatherings, cultural events, premium retailing and dining facilities, Jio World Center will be seen as Mumbai’s new landmark. It will become a hub where together we will write the next chapter of India’s growth story.”

Jio World Convention Center is actually a part of Jio World Center. Dhirubhai Ambani Square and the musical ‘Fountain of Joy’ have already been opened in the initial phases. Mumbai’s premium retail destination Jio World Drive was also unveiled at Jio World Center in October last year. It is the first of its kind in India to have a cultural centre, musical fountain, retail shops, cafes and restaurants with serviced apartments and offices apart from convention centre.
