The rule will not apply to Paytm –
There is no charge of any kind on apps like Paytm, but the payment apps most commonly used for online transactions will have to be charged on payment from third party apps like PhonePe, GooglePay and AmazonPay. . Online payment has increased significantly due to the global epidemic Kovid-19 along with being the easiest and safest way to pay. Most payments are being made through UPI Payments Apps. The government claims that the future UPI transaction figure is going to be even bigger, which is a very good sign for India, but, the possibility of monopoly of any third party app between such payments can also increase, The only objective of the government is to stop it.
