Oil companies have increased the prices of both the fuels by 35-35 paise per liter respectively. With this increase, petrol in the capital Delhi reached Rs 107.59 per liter on Sunday. At the same time, the price of diesel has also increased to Rs 96.32 per liter.

According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol has increased to Rs 113.46, Rs 104.52 and Rs 108.11 per liter respectively in other metros of the country, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. At the same time, the price of diesel jumped to Rs 104.38, Rs 100.59 and Rs 99.43 per liter respectively. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 6.40 per liter in the last 21 days, while diesel has also become costlier by Rs 7.70 per liter in the last 24 days.
It is noteworthy that due to the decrease in the demand and supply of crude oil in the international market, its price is increasing continuously. On the last trading day of the week, Brent crude was up by $ 0.92 to close at $ 85.53 per barrel in the US market. At the same time, WTI crude rose by $ 1.09 to $ 82.50 per barrel.
