New Delhi. In the international market, the trend of crude oil is continuing, the effect of which is visible in the domestic market. Public sector oil marketing companies have not changed the price of petrol and diesel for the 15th consecutive day. However, on September 5, the oil companies had cut the prices of both the fuels by 15 paise per liter. However, since then there has been no increase in prices and no relief.
According to the Indian Oil website, petrol in Delhi on Monday stood at Rs 101.19 per liter, while diesel also remained stable at Rs 88.62 per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol in other metros of the country Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata is stable at Rs 107.26, Rs 98.96 and Rs 101.62 per liter respectively. At the same time, diesel is getting Rs 96.19, Rs 93.26 and Rs 91.71 per liter respectively. Apart from this, petrol is also being sold in Noida at Rs 98.52, while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.21 per liter.

It is noteworthy that in most cities of the country, the price of petrol is running beyond Rs 100 per liter. These include metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Along with this, the prices of petrol are also high in cities like Bhopal, Lucknow, Bangalore. In fact, there has been a discussion for a long time to bring diesel-petrol under the ambit of GST. But, in the 45th meeting of the GST Council two days ago, the Center and the states could not agree on this, due to which it is still out of the purview of GST.
