Public sector oil marketing companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel for the 17th consecutive day. Petrol in the capital Delhi stood at Rs 101.19 per liter on Wednesday, while diesel also remained stable at Rs 88.62 per liter.
Petrol prices in other metros of the country Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata remained stable at Rs 107.26, Rs 98.96 and Rs 101.62 per liter respectively. At the same time, diesel is getting Rs 96.19, Rs 93.26 and Rs 91.71 per liter respectively. Apart from this, petrol in Noida is being sold at Rs 98.52, while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.21 per liter. It is worth noting that on September 5, oil companies had cut the prices of petrol and diesel by up to 30 paise per liter.

Due to the increase in the demand of crude oil in the international market, its price has climbed once again. At the end of trading on Tuesday in the US market, Brent crude closed at $ 74.36 per barrel, which is $ 0.44 higher than the previous day. At the same time, WTI crude also rose $ 01.27 to close at $ 70.56 per barrel.
