New Delhi. The price of petrol and diesel remained stable on the first day of the month as well. Public sector oil marketing companies have not changed the prices of both the fuels for the 15th consecutive day. On Sunday, a liter of petrol in the capital Delhi is getting Rs 101.84 and diesel Rs 89.87 per liter.
According to the website of Indian Oil, petrol is getting Rs 107.83, Rs 102.49 and Rs 102.08 per liter respectively in other metros of the country, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. At the same time, diesel is also being sold in these metros at Rs 97.45, Rs 94.39 and Rs 93.02 per liter respectively.

It is noteworthy that in about 19 states of the country, the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are included in this list. In fact, since May, there has been an intermittent rise in oil prices.
