Petrol-diesel prices increased for the 50th time in 2021, this year diesel became more expensive by Rs 13


New Delhi. Government oil marketing companies today completed half century in the matter of increasing the price of petrol and diesel. Petrol and diesel prices were increased for the fiftieth time in the country today. So far in the 14 days of this month, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased eight times. After today’s increase, according to the rate of VAT in different states of the country, the price of petrol and diesel has increased from 26 paise to 32 paise per liter.

After today’s increase, petrol became costlier by 29 paise to Rs 96.41 per liter in the capital Delhi. On the other hand, in Delhi today, diesel is selling at a price of Rs 87.28 per liter with a rise of 30 paise by crossing Rs 87. After the increase in the country’s financial capital Mumbai today, petrol is being sold at a price of Rs 102.58 per liter. While diesel has come down to Rs 94.70 per liter.

In Chennai, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 97.69 and diesel to Rs 91.92 per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol in Kolkata increased to Rs 96.34 per liter, while diesel here crossed the level of Rs 90 and is being sold at the rate of Rs 90.12 per liter today. Petrol is being sold in Bangalore today at a price of Rs 99.63. While diesel is being sold at a price of Rs 92.52.

Similarly, in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, petrol has reached the price of Rs 104.59 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 95.91 per liter. In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 93.63 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 87.68 per liter. Similarly, in Bihar’s capital Patna, petrol is being sold today at Rs 98.49 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.59 per liter. After today’s increase, petrol is being sold at Rs 92.13 per liter in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, crossing Rs 92.51 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.

In Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, after today’s increase, petrol has crossed the level of Rs 103 and diesel has crossed the level of Rs 96 per liter. Today in Jaipur, petrol has reached the price of Rs 103.09 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 96.29 per liter. After today’s hike, petrol is being sold at Rs 107.54 per liter and diesel at Rs 100.38 per liter in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.

Similarly, petrol in Rewa of Madhya Pradesh is Rs 106.90, Balaghat 106.76, Chhindwara Rs 106.50, Panna Rs 106.48, Harda Rs 106.46, Burhanpur Rs 106.35, Alirajpur Rs 106.36, Barwani Rs 106.12 and Khargone Rs 106.09. Selling at price.

Government oil marketing companies have so far increased the price of petrol and diesel 8 times in the first 14 days of June. After today’s hike, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased 50 times so far this year i.e. 2021. Due to which the price of petrol has increased by Rs 12.44 per liter and the price of diesel by Rs 13.15 per liter so far. On January 1, the price of petrol in the capital Delhi was Rs 83.97 per liter, which has now jumped by Rs 12.44 to Rs 96.41 per liter today. Similarly, on January 1, the price of diesel in the capital Delhi was Rs 74.12 per liter, which has now increased by Rs 13.15 to Rs 87.28 per liter.

Only in the 14 days of June, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2.18 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.11 per liter in Delhi so far. Earlier in the month of May also, the price of petrol and diesel was increased a total of 16 times from May 4. Due to which the price of petrol in the capital Delhi was increased by Rs 3.83 per liter and diesel by Rs 4.42 per liter in the month of May. In this way, only in 42 days from May 4 to today, June 14, the price of petrol in Delhi has increased by Rs 6.01 per liter and diesel by Rs 6.53 per liter.

Government oil marketing companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel 50 times so far this year. At the same time, its price has been cut marginally only four times. Government Oil Marketing Companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel 10 times in the month of January, 16 times in the month of February, 16 times in the month of May and now 8 times in the month of June so far. At the same time, there was a slight reduction in the price of petrol and diesel thrice in March and once in April.

Let us tell you that after increasing the price of petrol and diesel on February 27 in the month of February, the oil marketing companies did not increase the price of crude oil in the international market for 65 days. During this, the price of petrol and diesel was cut only four times in March and April. On May 4, 66 days after February 27, the price of petrol and diesel was increased for the 27th year. In 42 days from May 4 till today, government oil marketing companies have increased the price of diesel and petrol 24 times. Due to the continuous increase in the demand for crude oil in the international market, due to the increase in the price, there is little chance of relief in the price of petrol and diesel in India in the coming days.
