Jaipur. The Rajasthan government has taken many important decisions including a golden future for the youth in the state, promotions in departments and expansion in medical facilities. These decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In the meeting, it has been decided to give more and more opportunities to the youth in the recruitment of physical education teacher posts.
According to the Rajasthan Educational (State and Subordinate) Service Rules (Revised III), 2021, while amending the Rajasthan Educational (State and Subordinate) Service Rules, 2021, now in determining the eligibility for the post of physical education teacher, CP. It has been decided to keep Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) with Ed. It is worth mentioning that C.P.Ed is not currently in vogue in Rajasthan. . D.P.Ed course is run after class 12th in place of C.P.Ed.
The post of Physical Education Teacher is of Pay Matrix Level-10, it will be filled by 100% direct recruitment.
In the meeting, an important decision has been taken by the Department of Information Technology and Communication to promote recruitment information assistants, assistant programmers. In this, a provision has now been made to fill 20 percent posts of Analyst-cum-Programmer (Deputy Director) by direct recruitment and 80 percent posts by promotion. Till now, 50% of this post was being filled by direct recruitment and 50% by promotion. This will increase opportunities for the experienced personnel to get promotion, which will boost their morale. For this, approval has been given to amend the service rules at point no. 4 of the Schedule to the Rajasthan Computer State and Subordinate Services Rules, 1992.
Similarly, it has been decided to create two posts of Senior Professor in Harishchandra Mathur Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration. This will provide opportunities for promotion in the institute. With this, the training work of the institute will be done smoothly and promptly. For this, the post of Senior Professor is being included in clause (p) of regulation 6 of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Delimitation of Functions) Regulations, 1951, in the order of which the said regulation, 1951 has been amended. It is noteworthy that in HCM Ripa, the direct recruitment of the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor is done by RPSC and there is no provision in the regulation for promotion.
In the meeting, it was decided to transfer Government Ayurveda “A” Category Hospital Poonjala and Ayurveda Nurse-Compounder Training Center Poonjala, Jodhpur from Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur again under the State Government (Ayurveda Department). With the transfer of both the institutions to the state government, the management and operation will be done effectively. In this, the operation of departmental schemes can also be done smoothly. This will enable the common man to get proper benefits of Ayurveda medicine. After this decision, apart from the management of both the institutions, the ownership of the entire land and building will also be with the Ayurveda Department.
In the meeting, the draft of Rajasthan Sanskrit Education (College Branch) Service Rule 2022 was approved by the cabinet. After getting the approval of the cabinet on the proposed service rule, the problems of recruitment, promotion, debate on the posts of college cadre in the Sanskrit Education Department will be resolved. It is noteworthy that in the absence of service rules under process of the college branch, the recruitment process for the promotion and direct recruitment posts of teachers working in the college was completely blocked. In order to solve these problems, a new service rule has been prepared by determining the qualification, experience etc. according to the criteria of UGC Regulation-2018.
The cabinet approved the proposal to amend Schedule-I of the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010. This amendment is related to the cadre number of the judicial service. With the amendment, the new courts and posts will be included in Schedule-I and the list will be updated. In the meeting, approval has been given to amend rules 4 and 6 of the Rajasthan Judicial Officers (Medical Facility) Rules 2008. Rajasthan Civil Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 2013 have come into force in place of Rajasthan Civil Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1970. Therefore, in place of the above rules 1970, this amendment was proposed for the purpose of updating those rules by substituting the title expression of the above rules 2013.
