Wheat flour – 2 cups, boiled potatoes – 4 onions (chopped) – 2, green chillies (chopped) – 2, garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon, chaat masala – 1 teaspoon, red chili powder – 1/4 teaspoon, asafoetida – a pinch, coriander leaves – 2 tbsp, salt – as per taste, butter – as per need.

The method of making potato-onion parathas is as follows…

To make potato onion parathas, first of all, knead the dough by adding flour and salt in a vessel. Now prepare the stuffing by adding potato, onion, green chillies, coriander, red chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala, asafoetida and salt in a vessel. Then now make dough balls.

Take two dough balls and apply dry flour and roll them out like a poori. Now put a spoonful of stuffing on a dough and put a spoon of stuffing and spread it all over and close it completely. Press the covered puri with the help of hands so that the stuffing does not come out and then roll it with dry flour.

Put light butter on the griddle on medium flame and bake till it becomes crisp. Likewise prepare all the paranthas. Your potato-onion parathas are ready. Now you can test them with curd or green chutney.
