Oatmeal – half bowl moong dal, half bowl onion (finely chopped), 1 potato (finely chopped), 1 tomato (finely chopped), 1 green chilli (finely chopped), 3 turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon, water – 2 bowl , Oil – 2 teaspoons, salt – as per taste

The way to make this is as follows…

To make tomato masala porridge, first heat a pan on medium heat. Add oatmeal and lentils to it and fry it. Then after that wash it with good clean water and soak it in 2 bowls of water for 2-4 minutes.

After this, heat oil in a pressure cooker in medium heat and add cumin seeds to it. Then as soon as the cumin seeds are roasted, add potatoes, onions and green chillies and fry them. Now add tomatoes as soon as the onions and potatoes are well roasted, and as soon as the tomatoes are soft, add porridge with water.

After this, add turmeric and salt and close the lid and apply 3-4 whistles. Now turn off the gas. Take your onion-tomato porridge is ready. Now you can test it.
