There are many dishes made of Kuttu flour. But you must have heard about samosas for the first time. Kuttu flour is beneficial for health.

So let’s know how to make Kuttu Samosas …


-1/2 cup buckwheat flour
-1/2 cup water chestnut flour
-Sandha salt and water as required
-4-5 medium size potatoes
Cashew nuts, raisins
-1 teaspoon cumin seeds
-1 teaspoon tali chilli
Ghee as needed to make dough
-1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
-3-4 Green Chillies
– Peanut oil for draining

The method of making Kuttu samosa is as follows…

First of all, mix the flour of kuttu and water chestnut with ghee and mash it well. Next, add water and knead a slightly stiff dough. Keep the dough aside for a while. Now boil the potatoes and mash them.

Take a little ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds are roasted, add cashews, raisins, etc. and then when they turn golden brown add potatoes and rock salt. After that add lemon juice to it.

Make small balls of dough and roll them round and then cut them in the middle and fill them by folding them in triangular shape like normal samosas. Then fry them in oil. If fasted, you can use it along with Falhari chutney.
