San Francisco. Electric vehicle maker Tesla expects to reach 1.3 million deliveries in 2022. According to Electrek’s report, Dan Eves, analyst at Wedbush Securities, said he expects Tesla to deliver 900,000 vehicles this year. and will increase to 1.3 million vehicles in 2022.
Competition is increasing from all angles in this EV arms race that continues to dominate Tesla and the sector overall, however, it is the start of an EV transformation that will transform the auto industry for decades to come.
EVs represent 3 percent of total autos globally and there will be a lot of competition in the massively growing share of the global auto market to reach 10 percent by 2025, Eves said.
Eves believes Tesla will benefit disproportionately from this transition to electric vehicles in the industry.
According to the report, automakers are apparently driving the auto industry down the supply chain at present.
However, like the rest of the auto industry, Tesla has faced supply chain problems.
According to the report, the company has navigated the global chip shortage fairly well, but it has also become clear that the opening of its new factories, Gigafactory Texas and Gigafactory Berlin, will not happen until the end of the year. (IANS)
