WhatsApp’s message reaction feature

The message reaction feature is being rolled out for some Android users on WhatsApp’s beta channel. This feature will work in the same way as it does on other platforms. Users will be able to long press on the message to bring up an additional floating menu in question, after which they will be able to choose from the various emoji based responses provided to reply to the message. Currently, the beta build has six responses to choose from, including Thums Up, Love, Surprise, Tears, and Gratitude.

WhatsApp introduced multi device support

This feature will eliminate the need for an online connection on your smartphone for a chatting platform used on multiple devices. Firstly, users must have a stable internet connection on their smartphone so that they can use the messaging service on any other device like desktop, laptop. In other words, you have to link the smartphone to communicate.

This feature allows up to four devices and one phone to be connected simultaneously and if the phone is left idle for 14 days, the linked device will be disconnected. According to WhatsApp, it is not possible to view live location on paired devices. Creating broadcast lists or sending messages with link previews via WhatsApp Web cannot be done on a secondary device. Also, iPhone users cannot delete the chat on the linked device.
