Last year too, due to the Corona epidemic, there has been a ban on celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in many parts of the country. Due to this, the police on Thursday imposed a curfew in Mumbai under Section 144 of the CrPC from September 10 to 19, so that public programs could be banned. Mumbai Police has said that not more than five people can gather at one place. Ganpati procession will also not be allowed. Devotees in Mumbai will have to do darshan of Lord Ganesha online and cannot visit pandals across the city.
